The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
